A new N gauge model of the EWS class 67 locomotive is planned by Dapol for release in time for the Warley exhibition in November 2008. This locomotive is a perfect complement to the Dapol class 66s, especially as 67s are frequently now used to deputise for 66s on goods trains. The 67 is possibly more at home on their other regular duty of special passenger trains and previously the network of post and parcels trains.

Locomotive 67002 attained some notoriety in 2000 when the almost-new locomotive ran away in Bristol, coming to rest just inches short of a substantial road-over bridge after colliding with the rear of a loaded coal train and riding up over the wagons. Repairs took over a year to complete but the locomotive was returned to service.
