Possibly the smallest ready-to-run British N gauge model, the Graham Farish 04 class diesel shunter does not??? compromise on detail.

A tiny can motor mounted in the front of the locomotive has been combined with a chassis designed to maximise the weight available for traction, while keeping the cab windows unobstructed. This??? provides??? smooth slow running characteristics and excellent train hauling capabilities,??? even the test and development model was able to pull 7-coach trains.

The external detailing reaches new standards for N gauge, with separate wire handrails fitted to the cab and bonnet, wire sand pipes and fine guard irons.

D2239 carries the BR rail blue livery with crisply painted warning wasp stripes on the front radiator and cab end.
