the popular class 33 locomotive in the standard rail blue livery. The Farish model captures the look of Southern Region's distinctive diesel locomotive very nicely. These reliable locomotives extended their sphere of operation away from the Southern in the 1980's, initially taking charge of trains from Portsmouth Harbour to Cardiff, but later adding services from Cardiff to Crewe and Manchester to their regular schedules.
