The third volume from Ian Pope covering private owner wagons of Gloucestershire, extending south from the Badminton route into the City of Bristol. This includes the industrial areas around Warmley, the northern edge of the Somerset coal field and Avonmouth, with its docks and chemical plants.

The majority ofd wagons featured are engaged in the coal business, however the City of Bristol had diverse businesses, including chemicals, pottery and fireworks, with wagosn for these companies being found in this volume. Wherever possible a breif description and history of the wagon owners business is given.
