Pack of 10 battery-powered train tail lamps with red jewel reflector.
This style of compact, battery powered tail lamp was developed in the 1970s for Freightliner trains, where oil lamps, exposed on the end of a flat wagon, were being blown out. Following successful testing these electric lamps steadily replaced the traditional oil lit type for all trains during the 1980s and are the standard train tail lamps in use today.

Six roller units are supplied, carefully designed to sit on and take power from a section of track. The provision of six roller units allows locomotives with up to six driven axles to be tested. That covers all Co-Co diesel locomotives and up to 12-coupled steam locomotives! The rollers are separate units connected by a section of insulated channel section, cut to the correct length to maintain gauge. Thus the insulated sections can easily be changed for the alternative lengths, allowing 9mm (N, HOe and 009), 12mm (TT, HOm, HO3-1/2, OOn3), EM and P4 gauge models to be accomodated. The DCC Concepts rolling roal is possibly the best and most flexible choice for railway modellers who own and operate models of different scales and gauges.
Simply the easiest tool for cleaning OO and HO gauge locomotive wheels. This cleaner can be placed over a section of track and turn on the power. Hold the locomotive on the brass brushes and let the powered wheels spin, cleaning dirt and grime as the wheels turn.
Ideal for testing and running in locomotives on the workbench, Hornby's rolling road is suitable for all types of steam locomotives and most diesel locomotives. Additional rollers R8212 will be required for 2-8-0 and 2-10-0 locomotives and for diesels with more than 3 driven axles.
Spare cleaning pads for Roto Clean wheel cleaner units.
Even today's highly detailed locomotives can be detailed further. Engine crews and a set lamps can easily be added to steam locomotives.
Please note that the highly detailed locomotives being manufacturerd today have very few replacable parts. In many cases it is necessary to contact the manufacturer to obtain the correct replacement part for your locomotive. Details and reference codes for the parts can be found on the diagram sheet supplied with your model.
