The 40 series Kadee metal knuckle couplers are supplied with draft boxes ready for installation beneath the floor of any model not equiped with NEM coupler pockets. A height gauge (Kadee 205) is recommended to ensure the correct mounitng height is achieved.
No.46 couplers have a centre-set shank, placing the centreline of the knuckle in line with the drawbar shank.
Pack of 4 couplers.
Many British OO models can easily be fitted with Kadee couplers. Frequently it will be found that the correct coupler height is obtained with the coupler box mounted directly beneath the buffer beam. | |
