An excellent new N gauge model of the well-known blue-spot fish vans, initially built for express fish services on the East Coast mainline, but seen all across the BR network.

The blue-spot fish vans found many uses after the end of fish traffic on British Rail. This model and it's patner represent the vans in use as breakdown packing vans for the Shirebrook breakdown train. Designed for express freight haulage these vans were ideal for breakdown train use, carrying the basic re-railing equipment needed to deal with minor derailments, or carrying the lifting tackle used in conjunction with heavy lifting cranes.
