A very nice model of the 8750 series revised version of the 57xx 0-6-0 pannier tank with the modern cab style. Fitted with blackened wheels and coupling rods for better appearance.

Dapol's model is of an ex-GWR 14xx 0-4-2 tank engine in the later BR lined green livery used on many passenger tank engines working on BR's former GWR network. Very welcome in N gauge as the model can be used for a branchline shunter or light goods engine, as well as with an auto coach or a couple of coaches for local services. The 1400 class had a good turn of speed with suprisingly rapid acceleration. Gloucester drivers on the Chalford autocoach service delighted in racing Midland Region expresses on the stretch from Gloucester down to Standish junction.
