Closely resembling the Maunsell class N moguls, these locomotives were built in Ireland following WW1 from parts supplied by the Woolwich arsenal. To help transition to covil production after the great war Woolwich had made a start on locomotive building with the N class design. Few buyers were found for complete locomotives, but many were built from modified kits of Woolwich manufactured parts. | |
